Showers — and Showers of Blessings

April and May not only brought literal showers (downpours even), our missions also received showers of blessings from many different individuals, organizations, and church groups. We are very thankful for each donation of food, household items, monetary gifts, community service, and volunteer hours. As I thought of what to write this month, I decided that pictures could say a lot more than I could. I hope the photos I am posting here will give you a better idea of what goes on at GODTEL and bless you.

The photo above shows the bounty of a grocery shopping trip a couple (who wish to remain anonymous) made for the Livingston mission.

The Livingston mission was also blessed by this food donation from Livingston’s Center of Hope.

Calvary Baptist, Woodville invited Bro. June to speak and donated bedding for us to take to the Livingston mission. They come and provide a meal each month. (Bottom photo is an example.)

Pictured here at the Nacogdoches mission is a group of SFA students who conducted a canned food drive for GODTEL and delivered the results.

The Nacogdoches Kiwanis Club brought their trailers of cooking equipment and made blueberry pancakes one evening. They were checking out the equipment in preparation for the annual (except for last year) Nacogdoches Blueberry Festival

Boat & Pop-up Camper for Sale
 
The Celebrity boat and trailer pictured are parked at the Nacogdoches location. The 1999 Coleman pop-up camper is at the Livingston mission. The man who donated the boat told us it is in good shape except the engine needs a water pump.

The camper has a shower, potty, sink, gas stove, kitchen table with storage underneath, and king-size beds in each end.

So Much More
 
The photographs on the front represent just a few of our recent blessings. I will try to print more next month. If I tried to document with photos and a list of all who help, in so many ways, there would not be enough space in this newsletter. Our faithful Sunday lunch providers, Ray Gearing and Blair McDonald, are continuing their weekly gift. Grace Bible Fellowship in Fred, TX provides monthly meals (as well as Calvary Baptist in Woodville, pictured on front page). We just cannot thank you enough for the encouragement we receive from your kind letters and many acts of caring. You are making a difference and will surely share in any reward we may receive for our labors.
